We're Hiring: Design Manager Location: Doha, Qatar Employment Type: Full-Time
At Nabina Group, we are a leading provider of building materials, interior solutions, and contracting services in Qatar. We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Design Manager to lead our design team and oversee the successful delivery of projects across residential, commercial, hospitality, fit-out, kitchens, wardrobes, and interior solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
Design Leadership & Management Lead, mentor, and manage a team of architects, interior designers, and technical staff. Review and approve design concepts, drawings, and project deliverables. Establish design standards and ensure consistency across all projects. Drive innovation and creative excellence within the design team.
Project Management Oversee projects from concept development through construction documentation and site execution. Develop project schedules and monitor design progress to ensure timely delivery. Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and internal departments. Ensure design solutions meet project objectives, budgets, and timelines.
Technical & Design Development Review architectural and interior design drawings, specifications, and material selections. Ensure compliance with local regulations and industry standards. Resolve design and technical challenges during project development and execution. Monitor design quality and ensure accuracy of drawings and documentation.
Site & Client Coordination Attend client meetings, presentations, and design reviews. Conduct site visits and coordinate with project teams to ensure proper implementation of designs. Review shop drawings, material submissions, and mock-ups. Ensure final project execution aligns with approved design intent.
Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field. Minimum 5 years of experience in architecture, interior design, or design management. Minimum 2 years of experience in a Design Manager or Senior Design Lead role. Strong experience managing multidisciplinary design teams. Excellent knowledge of design development, technical detailing, and project coordination. Proficiency in Auto CAD, Sketch Up, Adobe Creative Suite, and 3D visualization software. Revit proficiency is an advantage. Strong leadership, communication, and presentation skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Must be currently based in Qatar. Valid Qatar Driving License is mandatory. NOC for transfer preferred. Preferred Experience Experience in fit-out, interiors, kitchens, wardrobes, commercial, hospitality, or residential projects. Knowledge of local authority requirements and approval processes in Qatar. Strong understanding of materials, construction methods, and project execution.
