Roles & Responsibilities

Execute all carpentry and associated work to the highest professional standards. Constructing and repairing of structures made of wood, plywood and other materials. Maintaining wooden fixtures, furniture, and structures throughout the hotel such as doors, windows, cabinets, shelves, counters, and decorative Working experience working with a wide range of carpentry tools and equipment, such as saws, drills, routers, sanders, planers and chisels, and the ability to use them safely and effectively. Identify, analyze and troubleshoot issues related to wooden structures, fixtures, and furnishings, and develop effective solutions to address them efficiently. Collaborating with other department team members such as Housekeeping, Front Office, etc, while prioritizing work orders, and ensure timely completion of requests.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Previous work experience as a Carpenter in a hotel environment.
• Proficient in various woodworking techniques, including cutting, shaping, joining, and finishing wood to create functional and aesthetically pleasing structures and furnishings.
• Knowledgeable of local building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards relevant to carpentry work to ensure compliance and safety in all projects.
