We are seeking an experienced Nursery Director who can lead the team, develop educational and developmental programs, and ensure the highest standards of safety and holistic development for children within an accredited nursery framework in Qatar.

Key responsibilities and duties

• Efficiently managing and operating the nursery, including daily supervision of the educational program, safety, and daily care for children.
• Leading and developing the staff within the nursery, including teachers and assistants, and coordinating work schedules and ongoing training.
• Designing and implementing age-appropriate curricula and educational activities, considering motor, linguistic, and social development.
• Ensuring compliance with local and international nursery standards and regulations, including child safety and documentation of necessary records.
• Managing the budget and resources, evaluating performance, and periodically improving the quality of services provided.
• Maintaining ongoing communication with parents and providing periodic reports on children's progress and development plans.
• Organizing events and interactive activities that enhance a safe and encouraging learning environment.

Qualifications and requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in education, child care, or a related field (Bachelor’s level).
• Practical experience of 2-4 years in child care or nursery management, with notable leadership experience considered an added advantage.
• Familiarity with nursery standards and regulatory requirements in Qatar and ability to apply them practically.
• Proficiency in reading and writing Arabic, and effective communication skills with children, parents, and the team.
• Ability to plan, organize, and manage time, with problem-solving skills and continuous quality assessment.
