• Description: Overview

  Our client is a leading mid-sized company in the field of Manufacturing. We are currently seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join the finance team and drive accurate financial reporting, cost control, and strategic accounting practices.

  
  Main Tasks

  1. Oversee the end-to-end month-end and year-end financial close processes, ensuring absolute accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.

     
     

  2. Manage and maintain the general ledger, performing complex account reconciliations, journal entries, and financial variance analysis.

     
     

  3. Prepare comprehensive financial statements, management reports, and detailed manufacturing cost analyses for the Finance Manager.

     
     

  4. Utilize and navigate advanced ERP systems (such as Oracle, MS Dynamics, or similar) to streamline and automate daily financial operations.

     
     

  5. Monitor inventory valuation, track fixed assets, and analyze production costs to ensure accurate Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) reporting.

     
     

  6. Coordinate with internal and external auditors to facilitate annual audits, providing all required documentation and ensuring regulatory compliance.

     
     

  7. Ensure strict adherence to local financial regulations, tax laws, and statutory reporting requirements within Qatar.

     
     
  Requirements

  • Experience: 4 to 7 years of relevant accounting experience.

    
    

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree (BA) in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

    
    

  • Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (Oracle, MS Dynamics, or similar).

    
    

  • Languages: Fluent in both Arabic and English (written and spoken).

    
    

  • Location/Availability: Candidates must currently be residing inside Qatar and be available to join immediately.

    
    
  Compensation
