Responsibilities

• Inspection: Inspect scaffolding structures to ensure compliance with design, load capacity, and offshore safety standards.
  

  
  

• Certification: Approve scaffolds for use after verifying stability, anchorage, and safety measures.
  

  
  

• Compliance Monitoring: Ensure scaffolding erection and dismantling follow CISRS and project-specific procedures.
  

  
  

• Documentation: Maintain inspection records, issue permits, and prepare reports for QA/QC teams.
  

  
  

• Safety Enforcement: Enforce offshore HSE standards, PPE usage, and permit-to-work systems during scaffolding operations.
  

  
  

• Team Coordination: Work closely with scaffolding foremen and supervisors to rectify deficiencies and ensure safe practices.
  

  
  

• Diploma/Certificate in Construction/Engineering or equivalent.
  

  
  

• Minimum 5 years of offshore scaffolding inspection experience.
  

  
  

• Strong knowledge of scaffolding design, load calculations, and offshore safety standards.
  

  
  

• Ability to read and interpret scaffolding drawings and project specifications.
  

  
  

• Familiarity with CISRS, ISO, and NOC standards.

• CISRS-OSTS Scaffold Inspector Certification (Basic/Advanced)
  

  
  

• BOSIET / HUET (OPITO certified)
  

  
  

• Basic H2S Training
  

  
  

• EPCIC Project HSES Induction
