A leading Construction Project is hiring for Lifting Appointed Person
Qualification:Diploma/Degree in Engineering or Construction (preferred) CPCS A61 Appointed Person certification or equivalent Training in lifting operations and safety practices Knowledge of lifting regulations (LOLER or local standards) Ability to prepare lift plans and risk assessments Understanding of cranes, rigging, and load charts Strong safety awareness and decision-making skills5+ years experience in lifting operations or related field
Responsibilities:Plan and manage lifting operations Prepare lift plans and method statements Conduct risk assessments and identify hazards Select suitable cranes and lifting equipment Ensure compliance with safety regulations Verify competency of lifting team Coordinate with operators, riggers, and supervisors Monitor lifting activities on site Stop work in unsafe conditions Maintain records and inspection documents
