Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the design, assembly, and integration of quadcopter/multi-rotor platforms and associated hardware (flight controllers, sensors, payloads, and power systems).
• Support flight testing, data collection, and performance evaluation under supervision, ensuring compliance with local regulations and safety standards.
• Participate in the development and calibration of autonomous flight algorithms, mission planning, and waypoint execution.
• Contribute to airframe selection, payload integration, and system optimization for efficiency and reliability.
• Collaborate with software and data teams to process and analyze mission data, generate actionable insights, and deliver clear reports.
• Assist in maintenance, troubleshooting, and documentation of UAV systems and test procedures.
• Support compliance activities, safety evaluations, and incident reporting as required by regulatory authorities.

Qualifications and Requirements

• University degree (Bachelor’s) in Electrical, Mechanical, Aeronautical Engineering, or a related field.
• Entry-level position suitable for fresh graduates or those with limited professional experience (career level: trainee).
• Basic knowledge of UAV technologies, flight controllers (e.g., Pixhawk, ArduPilot, Betaflight), and common sensors (GPS, IMU, Lidar, cameras).
• Understanding of flight planning, payload integration, and basic research and development methodologies.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements for drone operations in Qatar; willingness to obtain necessary certifications if required.
• Proficiency in English; Arabic language skills are a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive team player attitude.
• Willingness to work in field environments, travel as needed, and participate in after-hours testing when required.

Required Skills

• Hardware: experience with flight controllers, electronic speed controllers, power management, sensors, and payload mounting.
• Software: basics of firmware, mission planning tools, data processing, and visualization software; familiarity with Python or MATLAB is advantageous.
• Mechanical: fundamentals of mechanical design, CAD familiarity, and tool use for assembly and modification.
• Analytical: data interpretation, performance analysis, and troubleshooting.
• Communication: clear technical writing and ability to present findings to multidisciplinary teams.

Education and Location
