*Job Title: Cloud Solutions Architect (Pre-Sales Focused)*
*Job Summary*
We are seeking an experienced Cloud Solutions Architect with a strong pre-sales engagement focus to design and position end-to-end cloud solutions for enterprise customers. The role involves working closely with customers and internal teams from initial discovery and solution design through implementation guidance and ongoing architectural optimization.
The ideal candidate acts as a trusted advisor, aligning business requirements with secure, scalable, and cost-efficient cloud architectures that enable successful digital transformation outcomes.
*Key Responsibilities*Lead pre-sales technical engagements, including customer discovery sessions and solution discussions. Understand customer business challenges and translate requirements into cloud architecture designs. Design scalable, secure, and cost-optimized cloud solutions aligned with industry best practices. Prepare solution proposals, architecture diagrams, technical documentation, and presentations. Support sales teams during customer meetings, technical evaluations, and RFP/RFQ responses. Provide workload sizing, cost estimation, and cloud adoption strategies. Deliver technical demonstrations and proof-of-concept (POC) engagements. Guide customers during solution deployment while ensuring adherence to architectural design principles. Provide architectural governance and technical oversight across project execution. Collaborate with engineering and delivery teams to ensure successful solution implementation. Support cloud migration, modernization, and hybrid infrastructure initiatives. Recommend improvements related to security, performance, availability, and cost optimization. Conduct architecture reviews and knowledge transfer sessions with customer technical teams. Build long-term trusted advisor relationships with customers.
*Technical Scope*Microsoft Azure (Primary Cloud Platform) AWS/GCP knowledge (preferred) Cloud Migration & Modernization Hybrid Networking & Connectivity Identity & Access Management Security & Governance Backup & Disaster Recovery Iaa S & Paa S Architectures Microsoft 365 & Modern Workplace integrations
*Required Skills & Qualifications*Proven experience in pre-sales cloud solution architecture. Strong understanding of cloud architecture frameworks and best practices. Excellent customer-facing communication and presentation skills. Ability to align business outcomes with technical solutions. Hands-on experience with cloud deployments and migrations. Strong documentation and solution design capabilities.
*Preferred Certifications*Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert Azure Administrator Associate AWS or Google Cloud certifications (advantage)
*Experience*:2-3 years in cloud architecture, consulting, or solution engineering roles. Experience supporting enterprise customers across the solution lifecycle.
