Job Title: Business Development Manager Location: Doha, Qatar
Role Overview We are partnering with a fast-growing, high-impact executive search firm focused on senior leadership hiring across financial services, technology, and diversified sectors. As part of its expansion, the firm is looking to appoint a Business Development Manager to drive client acquisition, build strategic relationships, and contribute directly to revenue growth. This is a front-office, revenue-generating role suited to a commercially driven professional with a strong network across corporates, financial institutions, and/or government-linked entities in the GCC.
Key Responsibilities Business Development & Revenue Generation Identify, target, and secure new client mandates across executive search and leadership hiring Build and manage a strong pipeline of opportunities across key sectors (Financial Services, Investment Firms, Family Offices, Tech, Conglomerates) Lead client meetings, pitch presentations, and proposal development Negotiate commercial terms and close search mandates
Client Relationship Management Develop long-term relationships with C-level executives, HR leaders, and decision-makers Act as a trusted advisor on talent strategy, market trends, and hiring insights Ensure high levels of client satisfaction and repeat business
Market Intelligence & Positioning Maintain deep knowledge of hiring trends across the GCC, particularly within Qatar and KSAProvide insights on competitor activity, compensation benchmarks, and talent availability Support the firm’s branding and positioning in the market
Collaboration with Delivery Team Work closely with research and delivery teams to ensure successful execution of mandates Provide clear briefs and client expectations to ensure quality outcomes Stay involved throughout the lifecycle of each assignment
Candidate Profile Experience: 5–10 years in business development, sales, or client-facing roles Background in executive search, recruitment, consulting, or financial services preferred Network: Strong existing relationships within the GCC (Qatar highly preferred) Commercial Mindset: Proven ability to originate and close revenue-generating opportunities Communication: Excellent presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills Entrepreneurial: Comfortable working in a startup environment with high ownership and autonomy Education: Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or equivalent is a plus Languages: English required; Arabic is a strong advantage
