About the job Business Support and Financial Control Analyst (3 Months Contract)
Role OverviewThe Business Support & Financial Control Analyst will provide critical financial oversight and business support to ensure effective cost management, accurate reporting, and compliance with internal controls. This role will support operational and finance teams by delivering timely analysis, improving financial processes, and assisting in decision-making during a high-demand period.
Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Control & Reporting
Support month-end closing activities, including accruals, reconciliations, and variance analysis
Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data in line with company policies and IFRS standards
Monitor budgets, track expenditures, and highlight variances with actionable insights
Assist in preparing financial reports, dashboards, and management presentations
Business Support
Partner with operational teams to provide financial guidance and cost optimization strategies
Analyze financial performance trends and provide recommendations to improve efficiency
Support forecasting and budgeting processes for assigned departments
Assist stakeholders in understanding financial implications of business decisions
Compliance & Controls
Ensure adherence to internal controls, policies, and audit requirements
Support internal and external audit processes by providing required documentation
Identify process gaps and recommend improvements to strengthen financial controls
Data Analysis & Process Improvement
Utilize financial systems and tools to extract and analyze data
Improve reporting processes through automation and standardization where possible
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within finance and business support functions
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
- 4–5 years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, or business support roles
Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and variance analysis
Experience working with ERP systems
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Contract Details
Duration: 3 months (with potential for extension based on business needs)
Immediate or short-notice availability preferred

- Must be under family sponsorship or freelance visa able to provide secondment paper.
