Key Responsibilities and Duties

• Assist in the development, implementation, and monitoring of security policies, procedures, and standards.
• Support risk assessments, threat analysis, and incident response activities under supervision.
• Participate in security audits and compliance activities to ensure adherence to internal and regulatory requirements.
• Help maintain access control, physical security measures, and surveillance systems for facilities.
• Contribute to the preparation of security reports, dashboards, and executive summaries.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to respond to security incidents in a timely manner.
• Assist in the evaluation and deployment of security technologies and tools.
• Stay informed about local security regulations and best practices; participate in ongoing training and development.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or current enrollment in a related field (e.g., Security, Information Technology, Risk Management) from a recognized university.
• Institute of internship or equivalent eligible status as a career level indicator.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with a proactive and detail‑oriented approach.
• Familiarity with basic security concepts, risk assessment methodologies, and incident response processes.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a cross‑functional environment.
• Willingness to learn, adapt, and take on increasing responsibilities over the internship period.
