ROLE ACCOUNTABILITIES

Cloud Engineering and Infrastructure Management: Ensure the cloud-based infrastructure is secure, optimized, and scalable, focusing on cost optimization, traffic protection, and network planning.

Data Management Oversight: Lead the Data Management Team to maintain data ownership, governance, privacy compliance, classification, and lifecycle management.

Data Integration: Oversee the integration of new datasets into the Platform to ensure comprehensive and accurate data flow for analytics and decision-making.

Security and Compliance: Work with the Security Operations Team to implement best practices in data encryption, cloud security, and compliance to safeguard the Platform.

Smart Solution Support: Oversee onboarding efforts for new smart solutions and provide presales support.

Innovation and Development: Continuously adopt new technologies, tools, and practices to enhance platform performance.

Stakeholder Collaboration: Lead workshops, discovery meetings, and cross-functional collaborations to align technology initiatives with both external and internal stakeholders.

EXPERIENCE, QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

Regarding experience:

• Proven experience in large complex projects in ICT and Smart Cities area.

• Important knowledge in ICT, including new trends like cloud computing, software engineering, web/mobile applications development, DATA and AI analytics. Including a hands-on approach, with demonstrated experience as well as willingness.

• Experience in analysis, implementation and evaluation of IT systems and their specifications

• Coordination and management of large and cross-functional teams.

• Multicultural experience.

Regarding qualifications:

• Minimum master’s degree in computer science or relevant field.

• Highly appreciated MBA.

• Preferred Azure related certifications.

Regarding skills (technical and not technical):

Good technical knowledge in the following areas:

• IT management

• Infrastructure and applications

• Data warehousing, architecture and networking

• Knowledge of cloud platforms and technologies

• Smart City orchestration and platform management

• A minimum of 5 years of IT service delivery experience

• Experience with business operations platforms

• Fluent in English: Working language.
