Job Summary The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) provides strategic financial leadership to ensure the organization’s financial stability, profitability, and long-term growth. The role oversees financial planning, reporting, capital management, risk governance, and financial strategy while supporting executive decision-making and driving operational efficiency across the organization.
Key Responsibilities Lead the organization’s financial strategy, planning, and forecasting aligned with corporate objectives. Oversee financial reporting, budgeting, and performance analysis to support executive and board decisions. Manage cash flow, liquidity, capital structure, and funding strategies to ensure financial sustainability. Provide financial leadership for investments, mergers & acquisitions, joint ventures, and business expansion initiatives. Ensure financial governance, compliance, and risk management in line with international standards (IFRS/GAAP). Build and maintain relationships with banks, auditors, investors, regulators, and government authorities. Drive financial transformation, automation, and ERP/BI implementation to improve reporting and efficiency. Lead and develop high-performing finance teams while promoting a culture of accountability and performance excellence.

Special Requirement Fluency in both Spanish and English. Prior experience in the mining industry is strongly preferred. Balanced professional background with approximately 50% focus on investment strategy and financial analysis, and 50% on P&L management and core finance operations.
Experience Minimum 15+ years of finance experience, including 7+ years in senior leadership or C-suite roles. Experience managing complex financial operations in large or diversified organizations. Proven track record in financial transformation, strategic growth, or large-scale investment initiatives.
Education Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related field. Professional certification preferred (CPA, ACCA, CFA, or equivalent).
