Eram Talent is currently seeking a dedicated Prototyping Support Technician to join our team in Saudi Arabia.
The Prototyping Support Technician provides operational support for outdoor testing projects and maintains general prototyping workshop equipment.
The role supports the planning, coordination and execution of technical initiatives, experiments and installations, while also contributing to the reliable operation, troubleshooting and continuous improvement of Prototyping Core Lab assets and equipment.

Key Responsibilities: Coordinate and support renewable energy–related technical activities, including planning, scheduling, and execution of experiments, tests, and installations.
Provide hands-on troubleshooting and diagnostics for electrical, electronic, mechanical, and control systems within the Prototyping Core Lab.
Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure equipment reliability, safety, and optimal performance.
Assist in equipment setup, installation, commissioning, and verification to ensure systems meet technical specifications and operational requirements.
Apply strong technical knowledge of electrical, mechanical, mechatronic, PLC, CNC, and control systems used in prototyping environments.
Coordinate technical tasks and installations effectively, ensuring timelines, resources, and safety standards are maintained.
Support researchers and project teams with practical problem-solving, technical guidance, and adherence to SOPs and HSE procedures.
Maintain accurate technical documentation, maintenance records, inspection reports, and project logs.
Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying workflow enhancements, conducting risk assessments, and implementing root cause analysis to prevent recurring issues.
Demonstrate adaptability and the ability to work effectively in outdoor testing environments and under operational pressure.
Technical diploma or accredited apprenticeship in Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronics, Mechanical, or a related technical field.
5 years of hands-on experience in commissioning, testing, and maintenance of electrical and/or mechatronic systems.
Practical experience servicing and maintaining prototyping workshop equipment, with PLC and CNC exposure considered an advantage.
Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve electrical, mechanical, electronic, and control system faults effectively.
Experience working in technical laboratory, workshop, or outdoor testing environments with strong adherence to safety and documentation standards.
