Job Details

  1. Project Planning & Execution
    • Develop project execution plans, schedules, budgets, and resource requirements.
    • Manage end-to-end execution of substation projects (EHV/HV substations, 220 kV & above).
    • Ensure compliance with Oil & Gas facility regulations, HSE requirements, and quality standards.
    • Proficiency in Primavera P6 / MS Project for project scheduling.
      1. Leadership & Coordination
        • Lead multidisciplinary project teams including engineers, supervisors, subcontractors, and vendors.
        • Liaise with client representatives, consultants, and internal stakeholders for approvals and progress updates.
        • Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of substation equipment (GIS/AIS, transformers, protection & control systems, switchgear, SCADA, etc.).
          1. Technical & Contractual Management
            • Review and validate electrical designs, drawings, and technical specifications.
            • Ensure compliance with IEC, IEEE, ANSI, and Oil & Gas industry standards.
            • Administer contract terms, manage claims, variations, and resolve disputes with stakeholders.
              1. Financial & Resource Control
                • Monitor project costs, cash flow, invoicing, and profitability.
                • Optimize resource utilization (manpower, materials, equipment).
                • Coordinate procurement of long-lead items and critical equipment.
                  1. HSE & Quality Assurance
                    • Implement stringent HSE management systems in compliance with Oil & Gas safety standards.
                    • Ensure QA/QC procedures are followed at all stages of project execution.
                    • Conduct risk assessments, safety audits, and quality inspections.
                      1. Reporting & Documentation
                        • Prepare project progress reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior management and clients.
                        • Maintain proper documentation of engineering, construction, and commissioning records.
                        • Ensure project close-out, handover, and warranty obligations are fulfilled.
