Job Description

We are seeking an experienced QC Inspector - Painting to ensure quality control of blasting and painting works for Oil & Gas projects. The candidate must have strong technical knowledge of coating systems and hold BGAS Level 2 certification.

• Inspect surface preparation activities (blasting, cleaning, profiling)

  
  
  

• Verify coating application as per project specifications

  
  
  

• Monitor environmental conditions (temperature, humidity, DFT, etc.)

  
  
  

• Conduct inspections and testing as per approved ITP

  
  
  

• Prepare and review inspection reports and documentation

  
  
  

• Ensure compliance with client standards and international codes

  
  
  

• Coordinate with site team and client representatives

  
  
  

• Identify non-conformities and recommend corrective actions

  
  
  

• Maintain QA/QC records and documentation

  
  
  

• Ensure strict adherence to HSE standards

  
  
  

• Qualification: B.E / B.Tech (Mechanical) - Mandatory

  
  
  

• Experience: 15-18 years in Painting (Oil & Gas sector mandatory)

  
  
  

• Certification: BGAS Level 2 (Mandatory)

  
  
  

• Strong knowledge of blasting, coating systems, and inspection procedures

  
  
  

• Familiar with international standards (ISO, SSPC, NACE, BGAS)

  
  
  

• Experience in DFT measurement, surface profile testing, and holiday testing

  
  
  

• Ability to interpret project specifications and ITPs

  
  
  

• Good documentation and reporting skills

  
  
  

• Salary: QAR 5,000 - 6,000
