Location: Doha, Qatar (onshore)
Employment Type: Fixed-term Contract (100 months)
Work Schedule: 8–10 hours/day, 6 days/week, 26 days/month, 12 weeks on / 2 weeks off


Job Overview
A leading energy and infrastructure organisation is seeking a skilled Communication Lead to drive integrated communication initiatives across onshore and offshore projects. This role combines strategic communication planning with visual storytelling and AI-driven media production to enhance project visibility, reinforce safety messaging, and strengthen stakeholder engagement.


The ideal candidate will have strong experience in media production, professional filming, and high-quality written communication in English, with the ability to translate complex industrial processes into clear and engaging content.


Key Responsibilities




  • Lead and oversee communication activities for onshore and offshore projects, including interviews, visual documentation, operational updates, and safety/welfare communications



  • Review, govern, and approve all external communication materials, including press releases, statements, announcements, and visual media



  • Plan, coordinate, and execute end-to-end project media coverage, including scripting, filming, photography, and reporting across multiple industrial and offshore sites



  • Develop and deliver AI-enhanced media content, leveraging tools for video creation, editing, animation, subtitles, and content optimisation



  • Curate, manage, and maintain multimedia content for internal and external communications, campaigns, executive presentations, digital platforms, and SharePoint repositories



  • Ensure communication content accurately reflects project progress, operational realities, safety requirements, and workforce conditions



  • Translate complex technical and operational processes into structured, compelling visual and written content for diverse audiences



  • Maintain consistency of messaging, tone, and visual identity across all materials and platforms in line with corporate standards



  • Prepare and maintain communication reports, visual documentation, and content dashboards to support management reporting and audits



  • Support executives and project teams with communication planning and execution



Qualifications




  • Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Media Communications, English Literature, Business Administration, or related field



Experience and Skills




  • Minimum 8 years’ experience in Public Relations, with at least 5 years in Media or communications roles



  • Advanced spoken and written English skills



  • Proven experience in AI-driven video production



  • Professional on-site filming experience for both onshore and offshore operations



  • Strong visual storytelling skills and ability to produce high-quality articles and publications in English



  • Experience translating technical and industrial processes into clear communication content
