Total Rewards Manager
Role Overview The Total Rewards Manager is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing employee compensation structures, benefits programs, and incentive schemes. The role provides financial, market, and regulatory analysis to support strategic decision-making, including executive compensation planning and annual reward review cycles.
This position plays a key role in ensuring competitive, compliant, and performance-driven reward frameworks aligned with organizational objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Compensation & Benefits Design Contribute to the design and implementation of employee compensation structures and benefits programs. Deliver elements of technical reward design aligned with business strategy. Conduct financial, market benchmarking, and legal analysis to inform reward decisions. Draft internal proposals, reports, and management presentations.
Executive Compensation Support Support the design and delivery of executive compensation programs. Provide internal financial analyses and external market practice reviews. Monitor and assess regulatory developments impacting executive rewards.
Incentive Programs Management Design and manage employee incentive schemes. Identify stakeholder requirements and align programs with business performance objectives. Define financial, performance, and behavioral metrics. Ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulatory standards.
Annual Reward Review Support annual salary review and bonus cycles. Provide payroll analysis, market pay benchmarking, and employee engagement insights. Prepare decision-making tools for line managers. Draft employee communications and management briefings.
HR Data & Budget Management Develop and test HR data collection tools and questionnaires. Deliver budget planning for rewards or conduct complex budget analysis. Monitor reward budget utilization and provide cost forecasts.
Job Knowledge & Skills In-depth knowledge of compensation structures and benefits programs. Strong understanding of legal and regulatory requirements related to rewards. Proficiency in financial analysis techniques and tools. Knowledge of market benchmarking methodologies. Experience in HR data management and reporting. Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills. Ability to deliver technical compensation design elements. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
