Tele-control / SCADA Engineer [2 Nos.] (for Water Control System)

General Requirements

???? Support SCADA, PLC, RTU, control system, and automation for water facilities (treatment plants, pumping stations RPS, DMA, networks).

???? Scope includes operation, troubleshooting, integration, documentation, and cybersecurity compliance of control system systems.

???? Vast knowledge of international standards (ISA, IEC 62443, ISO 27001, etc.) and local regulations.

???? Interview: Must pass an authorization interview and qualify as an Authorized person.

???? Work schedule: [e.g., 8 hrs/day, 5 days a week, with emergency call-out support].

Qualifications & Experience

???? Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical / Electronic, Instrumentation and Control or Automation Engineering from a reputed university.

???? Experience: More than 7 years of relevant experience in Water utilities, EPC contractor or Automation companies.

???? Hand-on experience with PLC/RTU programming (Siemens, Schneider, ABB …etc.).

???? Experience in SCADA configuration (e.g., Siemens WinCC, Yokogawa, EcoStruxure, GE iFIX …etc.).

???? Knowledge of industrial protocols (Modbus, Profibus, Profinet, DNP3, OPC-UA, Ethernet/IP).

???? Experience with field instrumentation (flow, pressure, level, water quality analyzers).

???? Familiarity with cybersecurity practices for critical infrastructure.

???? Experience in commissioning, FAT/SAT, and O&M support.

???? Soft Skills: Strong communication & reporting skills (English required; Arabic is a plus).

???? Ability to work with multidisciplinary teams, Project management, Problem-solving & analytical mindset.

Tele-control / SCS Engineer [1. No.] (for Substation Control System)

General Requirements

The role holder is responsible for ensuring maintenance and fault rectification for all telecontrol equipment and systems installed in Primary & Secondary Substations.

Qualifications & Experience

???? Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Electronics or Telecommunications Engineering

???? More than 7 years of relevant experience in a similar industry of which minimum 3+ years of supervisory experience preferably in the area of telecommunications

Responsibilities & Deliverables

???? Ensures daily telecontrol systems operation, equipment maintenance as well as fault

detection and repair, as per target Kahramaa performance indicators such as:

???? More than 500 Substation Control Systems (SCS/DCS) in Primary Substations all over Qatar.

???? More than 100 RTUs in Secondary Substations all over Qatar.

???? WAMS system maintenance

???? CMS computer system maintenance

???? UPS System at Control Centers.

Skills

Tele-control / Automation Engineer [1 No.] (for Water Mega Reservoirs)

General Requirements

(Control and Networking Systems) and effective maintenance of DCS/SCADA/PLC & Networking

System Database Installed in Water Mega Reservoirs/Pumping Stations.

Qualifications & Experience

???? Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Electronics/ Instrumentation & Control/Electrical Engineering.

???? More than 7 years of relevant experience in a similar industry of which minimum 3+ years

of supervisory experience preferably in area of Water Reservoirs, Pumping Stations, Water Utilities, OEM’s.

???? Hands-on experience with Major PLC, RTU, Networking, DCS & SCADA Systems.

???? Knowledge of industrial protocols, cyber security Practices for OT Systems and Experience with field instruments and Automation System Maintenance.

???? Knowledge in reading Instrument loop drawings, Electrical Hook up drawings, P&IDs, and wiring drawings.

???? Ability to work with different end users/teams, Project management and Problem-solving efficiency.

???? Written and Spoken English is essential, Arabic is preferred.
