Responsibilities
Review and approve material submittals, mix designs, technical data, and method statements. Ensure materials comply with Ashghal, QCS, ASTM, and BS standards. Coordinate with accredited laboratories for testing, verification, and quality assurance. Review test reports, identify non-conformances, and recommend corrective actions. Conduct site inspections to verify material handling, installation, and performance. Maintain material documentation, reports, and quality records for GEC compliance. Liaise with Ashghal teams, consultants, and contractors on all material-related matters
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Materials Engineering, or a related discipline. 10-12 years of experience in materials engineering for roads and infrastructure. Previous experience with Ashghal or major consultancy projects is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of QCS, Ashghal specifications, and international material standards. Excellent technical review, reporting, and coordination skills.
