We are seeking a highly skilled Environmental Officer to join our infrastructure projects team in Qatar. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in civil construction projects, particularly within the GCC region, and a strong background in environmental management and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and ensure compliance with environmental policies and regulations on infrastructure projects.
• Prepare, review, and submit daily, weekly, and monthly environmental reports (EDL, MER) in Lusail projects.
• Support NCR closeout processes and other associated reporting for LREDC.
• Provide technical guidance on environmental aspects related to roads, highways, tunnels, underpasses, pipelines, and other underground utilities.
• Assist in implementing environmental management systems (ISO 14001) and sustainability initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Degree or diploma in Environmental Science, Environmental Management, or Environmental Engineering.
• 7 to 10 years of professional experience in the civil construction industry in Qatar or other GCC countries.
• 5 years of direct experience in infrastructure projects in Qatar or GCC.
• Prior experience in Lusail projects is an advantage.
• Proficient in spoken and written English.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Solid understanding of environmental and technical processes associated with civil infrastructure projects.

Certifications (Preferred):

• ISO 14001 Environmental Management
• ISEP
• NEBOSH
• GSAS CGP

Skills

• Environmental Management & Compliance – Knowledge of environmental regulations and standards in construction projects.
• Sustainability Reporting – Experience in EDL, MER, LREDC reporting, and NCR closeout.
• Infrastructure Knowledge – Understanding of civil construction activities (roads, highways, tunnels, underpasses, pipelines, underground utilities).
• Technical Expertise – Ability to interpret and apply environmental and technical processes on site.
• Certifications – ISO 14001, ISEP, NEBOSH, GSAS CGP (preferred).
