A leading government organization in Qatar is seeking an experienced Director of Corporate Communications & Public Relations to lead its public relations, media engagement, and corporate communications strategy.
This is a senior leadership role, with responsibility for shaping the organization’s public image, managing stakeholder communications, and leading high-impact PR, protocol, and corporate messaging initiatives.
Key Responsibilities Lead and execute the organization’s overall PR and corporate communications strategy Act as the primary spokesperson and manage all media relations Oversee internal and external communications, press releases, and public statements Lead crisis communication and reputation management efforts Manage corporate events, protocol, conferences, and high-level visits Ensure brand consistency and alignment across all communication channels Build and maintain strong relationships with government entities, media, and industry stakeholders Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing communications team Support international engagement and global partnerships
Candidate Profile Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or related field Master’s degree preferred Minimum 10 years’ experience in PR / Communications, including 5+ years in a leadership role Strong background in media relations, crisis communications, and corporate branding Experience in public sector or large institutional environments is an advantage Arabic and English fluency required
Priority will be given to Qatari candidates
