Job Overview
The Operations Supervisor – Intervention Services & Drilling Tools is responsible for supporting and supervising field operations through effective planning, coordination, and execution of operational activities. The role ensures safe, efficient, and high-quality service delivery while maintaining strong financial performance and customer satisfaction. This position supports the Product Line strategy by managing operational risk, service quality, personnel performance, and asset utilization, while collaborating closely with Sales, Engineering, and Support functions.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and support day-to-day operational activities, including crew utilization, asset deployment, and inventory management to positively impact EBITDA.
- Ensure the Product Line maintains a strong focus on delivering high-quality services that meet customer and company standards.
- Ensure optimal job execution by assessing resources, competencies, and support requirements while enforcing strict compliance with Service Quality and Safety standards.
- Promote and lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance internal processes, operational efficiency, and service delivery.
- Conduct regular Service Quality Review meetings with customers in coordination with Sales to ensure full customer satisfaction.
- Ensure customer Statements of Requirements are accurately translated into Standard Operating Procedures and followed during execution.
- Maintain strong customer relationships, identify operational and technical needs, and support Sales on pricing, bids, and quotations.
- Provide technical and operational support to field staff and customers before, during, and after job execution (job briefings and debriefings).
- Support business growth initiatives by collaborating with Sales to identify and pursue new opportunities within the area.
- Oversee the creation, review, and approval of Delivery Tickets and ensure accurate recording of End-of-Job / End-of-Well data.
- Review and approve final job summaries in the Weatherford Performance Tracking System, ensuring full compliance with the Delivery Ticket process and FieldFX usage (where applicable).
- Supervise equipment maintenance, inspections, and modifications in accordance with approved Technical Manuals and standards.
- Support change management initiatives aimed at improving operational performance and service quality.
Skills
- Strong understanding of operational finance, budgeting, cost control, and basic accounting principles (GAAP).
- Comprehensive knowledge of Intervention Services & Drilling Tools product lines and job planning requirements.
- Good working knowledge of Engineering, Service Quality, and Sales functions.
- Strong understanding of customer requirements and market conditions.
- Ability to perform effectively in high-pressure environments while balancing customer and business expectations.
- Knowledge of company business practices including strategic planning, budgeting, staffing, HS&E, and compliance.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to assess, implement, and communicate effective solutions.
- Understanding of continuous improvement methodologies.
- Proven ability to manage, develop, and coach operational teams.
- Ability to operate effectively within a global matrix organization.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, negotiation, influencing, and planning skills.

- Intermediate knowledge of systems such as JDE, Hyperion, TapRoot, PeopleSoft, Salesforce, and FieldFX (where applicable).
- Fluent in English.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or a related discipline, or equivalent industry experience.
- Minimum 7+ years of relevant operational experience within Drilling Rental Tools, Fishing, Re-Entry, & Well Bore Cleanout Tools.
- Min. 5 years Fishing & re-entry field experience.
- Minimum 2+ years of operational financial responsibility beyond technical or field supervision roles.
