The Forklift Operator is responsible for the safe operation of forklifts to load, unload, move, and store materials and equipment within warehouses, yards, and project sites. The role ensures materials are handled efficiently while strictly following safety procedures and site regulations.
Key ResponsibilitiesOperate forklifts safely to load, unload, stack, and transport materials.
Inspect forklifts daily and report defects or maintenance requirements.
Ensure materials are handled, stored, and stacked properly without damage.
Assist in receiving, issuing, and organizing materials in stores or yards.
Follow site safety rules, lifting plans, and traffic management procedures.
Coordinate with storekeepers, supervisors, and site teams during operations.
Maintain cleanliness and order in assigned work areas.
Support inventory movement and material identification as required.
Adhere to HSE policies and report unsafe conditions immediately.
RequirementsValid Forklift Operator License / Certification.
Minimum 3–5 years of experience operating forklifts in industrial or construction environments.
Experience handling heavy, oversized, or palletized materials.
Good knowledge of forklift safety rules and load capacity limits.
Physically fit and able to work in site conditions.
Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures.
GCC project experience preferred.
Immediate availability is an advantage.
