The Sales Executive – Ready Mix Concrete is responsible for generating sales, developing client relationships, and achieving revenue targets by promoting ready-mix concrete products to contractors, developers, consultants, and project owners across Qatar.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in ready-mix concrete and related construction materials.
- Maintain strong relationships with contractors, developers, consultants, and project owners.
- Visit construction sites, batching plants, and client offices to promote products and services.
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets as assigned.
Client Coordination & Order Management
- Receive concrete inquiries, prepare quotations, and follow up for order confirmation.
- Coordinate with production, dispatch, and technical teams to ensure timely supply.
- Handle client complaints related to quality, quantity, or delivery and ensure quick resolution.
- Ensure customer satisfaction and long-term client retention.
Market Intelligence & Reporting
- Monitor market trends, competitor pricing, and project movements in Qatar.
- Identify upcoming projects and tender opportunities.
- Prepare sales forecasts, daily visit reports, and weekly/monthly sales reports.
Contract & Payment Follow-up
- Support contract negotiations and commercial discussions within approved limits.
- Follow up on LPOs, delivery notes, invoices, and payments.
- Coordinate with finance team to ensure timely collections and credit control.
Compliance & Standards
- Ensure all sales activities comply with Qatar Construction Standards (QCS) and company policies.
- Coordinate with technical team for mix design approvals and trial mixes when required.
Skills
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Business, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- 3–7 years of sales experience in ready-mix concrete or construction materials in Qatar.
- Strong understanding of Qatar construction market and major contractors.
- Valid Qatar Driving License (mandatory).
Skills & Competencies
- Strong negotiation and closing skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
- Good knowledge of concrete grades, mix designs, and site requirements.
- Target-driven and self-motivated.
Preferred Requirements
- Existing client network in Qatar construction industry.
- Knowledge of Ashghal, KAHRAMAA, and major consultant requirements.
- Experience handling government and large-scale infrastructure projects.
