In this role, you will lead the sales teams, manage strategic and operational activities, and collaborate with senior leadership to craft effective sales strategies. Your contributions will be crucial in driving business alignment and supporting the organization's growth in the Southern European market. Accountabilities
Develop and implement sales strategies that align with overall business goals and objectives. Define and execute territory sales plans. Manage the sales process, including lead generation, prospecting, sales calls, and closing deals. Collaborate with marketing and product development teams to develop sales materials, presentations, and proposals. Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics and implement improvements as needed. Analyze customer base for upsell and cross-sell opportunities. Make data-informed decisions to drive performance and resource allocation. Work with local teams to increase the number of customers across the region. Oversee and direct performance of the sales team. Manage and develop a team of sales personnel, ensuring efficient operations. Continuously evaluate and improve the sales process. Develop and implement policies for compliance with relevant laws and regulations. Provide strategic direction and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Prepare and present sales reports to senior leadership.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field. Proven experience as a Sales Manager or in a similar role, with a minimum of 10 years of experience in managing direct sales operations. Experience in leading an interculturally diverse team. Strong knowledge of direct sales principles and practices. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities. Ability to collaborate in a team environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and customer relationship management (CRM) software. Well-developed listening skills and strong engagement ability.
