Human Resources Director

Job Summary The HR Director will be responsible for planning, leading, directing, developing, and coordinating all Human Resources policies, practices, and team activities across the business unit. The role ensures full compliance with local and regional labor laws while driving the organization’s mission, people agenda, and long-term talent strategy. The position plays a key role in shaping organizational strategy by identifying critical HR issues, conducting in-depth analysis, and providing strategic recommendations to senior leadership, ensuring HR objectives are fully aligned with business goals.
Key Responsibilities Develop and execute HR strategies and initiatives that are fully aligned with the overall business and growth strategy of the business unit. Lead end-to-end recruitment and talent acquisition processes to ensure timely hiring of high-caliber talent. Oversee employee relations, proactively managing grievances, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution. Establish, review, and continuously improve HR systems, policies, procedures, and frameworks across the business unit. Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to HR teams to enhance capability, engagement, and performance. Ensure strict compliance with labor laws and regulations (where applicable), and internal company policies. Drive performance management systems including KPI setting, performance appraisals, and corrective action plans. Design and implement learning, development, and succession planning initiatives to support career growth and leadership pipeline. Oversee compensation, benefits, and reward structures to ensure internal equity and market competitiveness. Act as a change leader, supporting organizational transformation initiatives and fostering a high-performance, inclusive culture.
Job Knowledge & Skills Proven expertise in translating business strategy into effective HR solutions. Strong employee relations and conflict management capabilities. Deep understanding of recruitment best practices and workforce planning. Strong working knowledge of labor law and regulations and and demonstrated experience within the GCC regulatory environment (mandatory). Mandatory industry experience working with Real Estate Development companies. Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills. Hands-on experience with HRIS / ERP systems; SAP functional knowledge is mandatory.
Job Experience Minimum 12–15 years of progressive HR experience, including at least 7–8 years in a senior managerial or director-level role. Mandatory experience working in GCC countries within a large or multi-national Real Estate Development organization.
Education Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Master’s Degree in Human Resources or a related discipline is strongly preferred.
