Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Pre-Sales Consultant (Cloud & IT Managed Services) to join our team in Doha. The ideal candidate will act as a trusted technical advisor, qualifying opportunities, designing solutions, and supporting complex managed services deals across cloud, infrastructure, and IT operations. This role requires strong technical depth, excellent communication, and the ability to work closely with clients, sales teams, and delivery units.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Architecture & Technical Design

• Design end-to-end IT Managed Services solutions (infrastructure, monitoring, service desk, cloud).

• Analyze client environments and build tailored technical proposals.

• Lead PoCs, demos, workshops, and technical discovery sessions.

• Develop solution architectures aligned with best practices and client objectives.

Pre-Sales & Bid Support

• Support sales teams throughout opportunity qualification and bid phases.

• Prepare comprehensive proposals, RFP/RFI responses, and SOWs.

• Present technical solutions to C-level and senior stakeholders.

• Build ROI, TCO, and value-based business cases.

Cloud & Infrastructure Expertise

• Develop hybrid and multi-cloud solutions (Azure, AWS, GCP, OCI).

• Integrate cloud services with managed services offerings.

• Work closely with delivery teams to validate solution feasibility.

Pricing, Costing & Risk Management

• Develop pricing models (subscription, consumption-based, fixed).

• Prepare cost breakdowns: infrastructure, licensing, labor, tools, transition.

• Identify risks for large managed services pursuits and propose mitigation plans.

Service Transition & Operational Readiness

• Define SLAs, KPIs, service levels, and operational metrics.

• Build high-level transition and transformation plans.

Partner Ecosystem Engagement

• Work with major cloud vendors, ISVs, and OEM partners.

• Use partner programs to enhance solution capability and competitiveness.


Skills

Qualifications & Skills

Education & Certifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.

Required: ITIL v4 Foundation + major cloud certification (Azure, AWS, GCP, or OCI).

Preferred: PMP/Prince2, ITIL Intermediate/Expert.

Technical Experience

• 10+ years total IT experience with 5+ years in Managed Services Pre-Sales/Solution Architecture.

• Strong knowledge of enterprise infrastructure (compute, network, storage).

• Hands-on experience with ITSM frameworks and tools (ServiceNow, BMC, OpenText, Symphony, etc.).

• Understanding of service automation, monitoring tools, microservices, and containers.

• Familiarity with security and compliance: ISO 27001, GDPR, HIPAA (awareness).

Soft Skills

• Strong presentation and communication skills.

• Executive presence with ability to influence senior stakeholders.

• Excellent proposal writing and documentation ability.

• Strong analytical, commercial, and problem-solving mindset.

Preferred Experience
