We are hiring a Teller to join our Money Exchange & Remittance Operations team. The ideal candidate brings precision, integrity, and strong customer service skills while navigating high-volume cash and foreign currency transactions in a fast-paced financial environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Process foreign currency exchanges, remittances, WPS transactions, and bill payments with accuracy and speed.
  • Handle high-volume cash transactions, maintaining balanced cash drawers throughout the shift.
  • Verify currency authenticity using UV/MG tools and follow counterfeiting detection procedures.
  • Execute customer transactions in compliance with QCB, AMLAQ regulations, AML/KYC guidelines, and internal policies.
  • Identify and escalate suspicious transactions (STR/SAR) when required.
  • Deliver high-quality customer service to walk-in clients across diverse nationalities.
  • Reconcile daily transactions, prepare end-of-day reports, and support branch operations.
  • Maintain a professional and courteous environment while handling customer queries and concerns.


Skills

  • Minimum 1–3 years experience as a Teller / Cashier in a Money Exchange House, Remittance Company, or Banking Institution.
  • Strong understanding of foreign currency exchange, remittances, WPS, and cash management.
  • Knowledge of AML/KYC compliance and Qatar financial regulations is essential.
  • Experience using exchange/remittance systems (e.g., RemitOne, Flexcube, Finacle, Fexco, etc.) is an advantage.
  • High attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and strong integrity in cash handling.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Must be locally available in Qatar with a valid QID (transferable preferred).
