1. Customer Service

  • Greet customers warmly and escort them to their tables.
  • Present menus and explain daily specials or promotions.
  • Take customer orders accurately and repeat back for confirmation.
  • Serve food and beverages in a timely and professional manner.
  • Check on customers during their meal to ensure satisfaction.
  • Handle customer complaints politely and inform supervisor if needed.

2. Cashier Duties

  • Operate POS system efficiently.
  • Enter orders correctly into the system.
  • Prepare bills and collect payments (cash, card, online payments).
  • Issue receipts and maintain accurate cash handling.
  • Balance cash drawer at the end of the shift.

3. Coordination

  • Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure correct and timely order delivery.
  • Inform kitchen of any special requests, allergies, or modifications.
  • Communicate take-away or delivery orders clearly.

4. Cleanliness & Table Management

  • Set up tables before service (cutlery, napkins, condiments).
  • Clear and clean tables after customers leave.
  • Maintain cleanliness of dining area, cashier counter, and service stations.
  • Follow hygiene and safety standards.

5. Restaurant Operations

  • Assist with packing takeaway orders.
  • Refill water, condiments, and supplies as needed.
  • Maintain proper stock of order pads, POS materials, and cashier items.
  • Follow restaurant policies and grooming standards.

6. Teamwork

  • Support colleagues during busy hours.
  • Attend daily briefings and follow supervisor instructions.
  • Report any issues or incidents to management immediately.
