We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Mechanical Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and overseeing mechanical systems and equipment, ensuring they meet project requirements, industry standards, and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement mechanical systems, equipment, and components.
• Prepare engineering drawings, specifications, and material submittals.
• Conduct site inspections, tests, and troubleshooting of mechanical installations.
• Coordinate with project managers, clients, consultants, and suppliers to ensure timely execution of project requirements.
• Review IFC drawings, shop drawings, and technical documentation.
• Perform calculations for HVAC, plumbing, Drainage, fire-fighting, and other mechanical systems.
• Support procurement activities by preparing BOQs, evaluating quotations, and selecting appropriate materials.
• Ensure compliance with local codes, international standards, and safety regulations.
• Provide technical support to the construction team during installation, commissioning, and maintenance phases.
• Identify engineering issues and propose effective solutions.
• Prepare project reports, progress updates, and documentation as required.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 2–5 years of experience in mechanical engineering (construction, MEP, or industrial preferred).
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and mechanical systems.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and MS Office (other engineering software is a plus).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Experience in Qatar/GCC and knowledge of local regulations is an advantage.
• UPDA
