- System Design & Documentation: Develop and document Substation Control Systems (SCS) and SCADA systems, including control logic diagrams, network architecture (RSTP, PRP, HSR), and signal lists.
- Programming & Configuration: Program and configure remote terminal units (RTUs), Bay Control Units (BCUs), and human-machine interfaces (HMIs) using Siemens tools like SICAM PAS, SICAM SCC/WinCC, and DIGSI 4/5.
- Protocol Integration: Implement and parameterize standard communication protocols such as IEC 61850, IEC 60870-5-101/104, Modbus, and Profinet.
- Testing & Commissioning: Plan and execute Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), including I/O testing, protocol validation, and troubleshooting on-site.
- Troubleshooting & Support: Provide technical support throughout the project lifecycle and diagnose system issues in the field.
- Cybersecurity: Integrate cybersecurity measures into the technical design and configuration of operational technology (OT) systems.
- Collaboration: Work closely with project management, sales teams, and customers to ensure project requirements are met.

Essential Qualifications and Skills
- Education: A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related field.
- Experience: Typically 4-9+ years of experience in substation automation design, implementation, or commissioning.
- Technical Proficiency:
- Hands-on experience with Siemens SICAM PAS, SICAM A8000 RTUs, and HMI solutions like SICAM SCC or WinCC.
- Strong knowledge of industrial networking and diagnostic tools like Wireshark.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, single line diagrams (SLDs), and schematics.
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical ability, problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and a willingness to travel for on-site work.
