Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Resident CCNP Engineer to manage, maintain, and enhance enterprise network infrastructure, ensuring high availability, performance, and security across routing, switching, collaboration, and data center systems. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Cisco technologies and a proven track record in implementing and supporting complex enterprise networks.
Key Responsibilities
Routing & Switching:
Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot advanced Layer 2 and Layer 3 protocols, including OSPF, BGP, MPLS, VRF-lite, and route redistribution. Manage Cisco Catalyst and Nexus series switches and enterprise-grade routers to ensure optimal network performance.
Network Security:
Design, implement, and manage network security solutions using Cisco Firepower Threat Defense (FTD) and FortiGate firewalls. Configure and maintain VPNs (SSL/IPSec) and centralized management tools like Cisco FMC and FortiManager.
Collaboration Systems:
Administer and support Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM), including IP phone provisioning, Webex integration, and user management. Provide support for associated systems such as Cisco Unity Connection.
Access Control:
Deploy, configure, and manage Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) for network access control (NAC), including 802.1X authentication, RADIUS, TACACS+, and guest access policies.
Data Center & Virtualization:
Manage and support Cisco Unified Computing System (UCS) infrastructure, including UCS Manager, service profiles, and fabric interconnects. Provide support for virtualization environments based on VMware ESXi.
Server Administration:
Provide basic support and integration for Microsoft Windows Server environments, including Active Directory and Group Policy management.
Security Monitoring:
Assist in implementing and maintaining SIEM tools to analyze security logs and monitor for potential network threats or anomalies.
Skills
Qualifications & Experience
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Certification: Valid Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) certification is mandatory.
Experience: Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in network engineering and Cisco infrastructure.
Preferred Certifications: CCNP Security / Data Center / Collaboration, Fortinet NSE, or VMware VCP are a plus.
Skills & Competencies
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills across multi-vendor network environments.
Proficiency in Cisco routing, switching, and firewall technologies.
Excellent understanding of network security and NAC concepts.
