About the Role
We’re looking for a Production Foreman to lead our fabrication and production team in manufacturing cable trays, ladders, trunkings, and related accessories. This role requires strong technical skills, leadership, and hands-on experience in metal fabrication and machine operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage daily production and fabrication activities to meet project schedules.
- Review production plans, assign work to staff, and monitor materials and manpower.
- Ensure the correct use of machines, tools, and materials needed for production.
- Check and inspect all products during and after production to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Work closely with the Quality Control team to ensure all finished items meet specifications.
- Oversee and maintain all dies, punches, and machines — ensuring they are fully functional and coordinating any repairs or fabrication of spare parts.
- (Dies and punches are specialized tools used in shaping and cutting metal during production.)
- Provide guidance, training, and support to production team members.
- Maintain reports, records, and ensure all work follows company safety and quality standards.
Skills
- Diploma in Engineering or a related technical field.
- Minimum 6 years of experience in a cable tray manufacturing plant, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of cable tray, ladder, and trunking fabrication.
- Skilled in operating shearing, bending, power press, MIG/TIG welding, and gas welding machines.
- Able to read and interpret shop drawings and technical manuals.
- Experience in sourcing machine parts locally (especially Turkish-made).
- Knowledge in creating and maintaining tools and dies.
- Strong communication skills and computer literacy.
- Attention to detail and quality control focus.
