Key Responsibilities

1. Ensure complete and compliant mechanical equipment engineering deliverables during FEED and EPC phases.
2. Achieve assigned goals and fulfill project quality and contractual obligations.
3. Review and appraise contractor’s technical documents (specifications, calculations, drawings) for compliance and risk identification.
4. Manage contractor resources to ensure timely completion of mechanical equipment scope.
5. Monitor progress and align engineering deliverables with procurement schedules and Required on Site (ROS) dates.
6. Participate in project workshops including Equipment Criticality, HAZOP, and HAZID reviews.
7. Support QGMS expectations, including Risk Assessment, Facility Design, Construction, and Management of Change.
8. Operate in a high-visibility, high-pressure project environment with large capital expenditures.
9. Demonstrate initiative, accuracy, and multitasking in a dynamic multicultural team setting.
10. Maintain strong compliance with business controls and contribute to evolving control frameworks.

Skills

Minimum Requirements

1. Qualifications
2. Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering

Experience

Minimum 8 years in mechanical engineering roles

At least 4 years in the oil and gas industry

Minimum 3 years in offshore projects

At least 1 year in a supervisory or oversight role

Specialization in static equipment design with exposure to equipment packages and rotating equipment

Experience in both Brownfield and Greenfield engineering (offshore and onshore)

Familiarity with international standards: ASME Sec VIII Div.1 & 2, API, UL, NFPA

Advantages: Experience with equipment fabricators/manufacturers

Experience working with EPC contractors, subcontractors, and vendors
