We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales Manager to lead our rental heavy equipment sales operations in Qatar. The successful candidate will play a key role in expanding our rental fleet utilization by building strong client relationships, developing business opportunities, and managing a sales team focused on rental solutions for the construction, infrastructure, and industrial sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement effective sales strategies to grow the rental business of heavy equipment, including cranes, forklifts, aerial work platforms, and other construction machinery.
• Manage and motivate the rental sales team to meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs.
• Identify and cultivate relationships with new and existing clients, contractors, project managers, and consultants.
• Negotiate rental contracts, pricing, and terms with customers, ensuring profitability and client satisfaction.
• Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to ensure equipment availability, quality, and timely delivery.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to continuously improve the rental offering.
• Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and market analysis for senior management.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and contractual obligations.
Qualifications & Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of sales experience in heavy equipment rental or related industries.
• Proven track record in managing and growing rental sales in construction or industrial sectors.
• Strong negotiation, leadership, and client management skills.
• Familiarity with rental contracts, pricing models, and market dynamics in Qatar/GCC.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to travel within Qatar and occasionally the GCC region.
• Valid driving license preferred.
