We are seeking a highly experienced Project Director to lead a large-scale MEP and ELV project mainly for stadium project based in Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the full project lifecycle, ensuring successful planning, execution, and delivery while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and direction for all MEP and ELV project activities to achieve defined objectives, timelines, and budgets.
• Oversee the complete project lifecycle including planning, design coordination, procurement, execution, testing, commissioning, and handover.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and smooth coordination throughout the project.
• Review and approve execution plans, technical submittals, and construction methodologies in accordance with project specifications and standards.
• Monitor project progress through KPIs, reports, and site inspections; implement corrective actions to address delays and technical challenges.
• Ensure strict adherence to quality assurance, quality control, and safety protocols across all phases of the project.
• Manage project budget, cost control measures, and value engineering initiatives to ensure financial efficiency.
• Handle contract administration, including claims, variations, and ensuring contractual compliance.
• Conduct regular site visits to assess progress, address critical issues, and ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
• Lead, mentor, and motivate the project team to maintain high performance, accountability, and professional development.

Skills

• Minimum 20 years of total experience in MEP and ELV systems, including major infrastructure projects.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (Master’s degree preferred).
• Proven experience in stadium projects in the role of Project Director or similar leadership position.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• In-depth knowledge of international standards, Saudi construction regulations, and project management methodologies.
• Proficiency in project management tools and software.
• Fluent in English; Arabic language skills are an advantage
• Willingness to be based in Saudi Arabia for the full duration of the contract.
