Job Description:
As an HSE Supervisor, you will play a critical role in overseeing and ensuring adherence to health and safety protocols during the shutdown and turnaround operations. You will work closely with management and various teams to foster a culture of safety and compliance throughout the project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and monitor HSE management plans specific to the shutdown project.
- Conduct risk assessments and ensure the identification of hazards before project activities commence.
- Provide guidance and support to all personnel regarding health, safety, and environmental best practices.
- Conduct safety inspections and audits, identifying and mitigating potential risks or incidents.
- Facilitate HSE training sessions and orientations for staff and contractors involved in the project.
- Monitor and report on HSE performance, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with emergency response teams and conduct drills to ensure preparedness.
- Prepare and maintain accurate HSE documentation and reports for management review.
Qualifications:
- Minimum Graduation in Engineering or Diploma, NEBOSH Certification is a must
- Minimum of 06 years of experience in HSE roles, specifically within shutdown/turnaround projects in the oil & gas industry.
- Thorough understanding of HSE regulations and standards applicable to the industry.
- Strong communication and leadership skills to effectively manage teams and interact with stakeholders.
- Proficient in conducting risk assessments and incident investigations.
