Urgent requirement for " Engineer QA/QC "CSWIP 3.2.2
Responsibilities:
- Ensuring the overall execution of the Quality inspection Plan at shutdown/turnaround project through a well-managed project QA/QC team
- Perform thorough inspections of materials, equipment, and workmanship throughout the shutdown process to ensure compliance with quality requirements and industry standards.
- Monitor progress and adjust schedules as necessary to meet project milestones.
- Conduct inspections and audits, implementing quality control measures throughout the project lifecycle.
- Responsible to review and monitor all internal & external CAR’s/PAR’s logs received from sites for timely closure of all open CAR’s/PAR’s
- Takes ownership of Company’s Quality & HSE policies, Core and Operating Values to identify any amendments and their implementation
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Metallurgical Engineering from a recognized university.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience handling QA/QC activities in the Oil & Gas industry, with at least 5 years in plant shutdowns, preferably in LNG or refinery environments.
- Lead Auditor Qualification (ISO 9000) is required.
- Welding qualifications (EWE, CSWIP 3.2.2, or AWS_SCWI).
- NDT professional certification (Level-II in RT, UT, PT, MT).
- Strong familiarity with relevant codes and standards, with exposure to multidiscipline inspection activities in Oil & Gas projects.
- Proven experience in in-service repair of piping and static equipment.
