Position Overview
As a Commis 2 Pastry, you will work closely with our Pastry Chef and to produce a variety of pastries, desserts, and baked goods. You’ll be responsible for preparing ingredients, assisting in the creation of desserts, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization in the pastry kitchen.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and presentation of pastries, desserts, and baked goods according to the chef’s recipes and specifications.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Contribute to the creation of new pastry items and dessert menus.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a pastry kitchen or related culinary environment is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of pastry techniques and dessert preparation.
- A positive attitude and a willingness to learn and grow within the team.
