The role requires a sound understanding of industrial construction project execute management processes, and the monitoring and reporting of same, from a client standpoint. Monitor and measure the completion of the site-based execution of Contractors works, that follow specific CWPs (Construction Work Packages) and IWPs (Installation Work Packages). Develop detailed excel spreadsheets for the fabrication shops, field installation of structural steel, civil works, E/I, mechanical as required. Reviewing work site implementation schedules from Contractor’s, with view to corroborating progress. Reviewing construction plans and preparing quantity requirements. Liaise with contractors, and subcontractors. Prepare reports, analyses, daily/weekly overall progress reports for management. Documenting any changes in design and updating tracking spreadsheets Act as Client focal point for week-to-week progress. Provide a constant site presence, visiting assigned active works fronts. Fluent in English written and spoken. Recognized discipline trade/craft qualification as a minimum, and/or discipline degree in quantity surveying, engineering, management, or similar. Minimum 10 years of demonstrable site-based Quantity surveying experience within a mega/large scale onshore construction project. Strong communication skills. Sound knowledge of construction. Excellent negotiating and interpersonal skills. Construction estimating experience is advantageous. Strong Team ethic, whilst able to work autonomously. Computer literate in typical office programs.
