The promotion director- producer reports directly to the Executive Assignment Editor, produce and edit on-air promotions, show topicals, interstitials and brand awareness campaigns for TV Programs

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

-Create promotion campaigns that attract audiences and raise the viewing experience of the Channel from concept through to post production including pitching ideas writing, editing and directing

-Quality check edited material prior to broadcast and ensuring that all work at high technical standard.

-Directing voice over and audio mixes.

-Coach and mentor more junior members of the team, supporting them in their skillsets to create outstanding promotions.

The role also requires working in alignment with the Marketing and Programming departments along with the Digital team.

SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND REQUIREMENTS

-Five years minimum working as a Promo Producer within the On-Air Department of a National or International television brand.

-Script writing for promos and the ability to mentor more junior producers in scripting skills.

-Experience self-editing on Avid , Adobe Premiere , After Effect and knowledge of the appropriate editing production processes.

-A track record of promo production within the On-Air promo production industry.

-Ability to work as part of a Creative Team, contributing to the development of concepts and providing expertise to enhance the overall creative output.

Non-essential Skills

-Experience in self-operating , directing small shoots , Mirrorless Interchangeable Lens Camera and lights for various promotional and sponsorship needs.

-Vfx skills

-Eligibility to live and work in Doha, Qatar

-English , arabic ( is a plus ) Language

-Showreel is a must
