Overview
Commercial bank is seeking a Wealth Advisor to join our Wealth management department.
The role requires to support the RMs in advisory process for investment product. Build an investment advisory tool, participate in product selection process, coach and educate RMs, sale advisory service to customers.
Key Accountabilities
- Participate in implementation of advisory services and investment sales in all respective segments of customers
- Participate in product selection process.
- Regularly meets with customers to promote advisory service
- Supports sales team on meeting the sales targets
- Provide on-the-job training, coaching and constructive feedback to involved stake holders
Product Strategy
- Responsible for supporting the Advisory strategy and ensure the implementation and delivery of underlying product and proposition objectives.
Budgets, Planning and monitoring
Banking Products Proposition
- Support conceptualization, design and review of CB Retail Banking Wealth products and propositions through the utilization of analytics data, market insights and internal capabilities, in order to provide the bank with captivating proposition in order to win in the market place.
- Communicate and monitor Wealth product performance, liaising with key stakeholders, developing activity and enhancing service, product and brand offerings whenever possible, in order to drive growth and maintain retention of customers.
Other Accountabilities
Acquisitions of Wealth Customers
- Supports sales team on all wealth management advisory products
- Regularly meets with the customers in order to promote advisory service and products
- Supports the implementation and ongoing development of wealth management and advisory process across product, process, people and platform to ensure financial targets are achieved
- Supports product team in order to assure wealth management offering is competitive and in line with international standards
- Ensures sales teams knows and understand products offered by the Bank
- Supports product team to manage existing suite of wealth products and the development of wealth products suitable for different segments of customers.
Reporting and Operational Needs Assessment
- Provide periodic and / or ad hoc reports and analysis for Retail Wealth product and proposition performance, in order to provide senior management with insights and clarity of banking product current activities and performance
Continuous Improvement
- Motivates sales team and contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of systems, processes and practices taking into account ‘international leading practice’, improvement of business processes, cost reduction and productivity improvement.
Policies, Systems, Processes and Procedures
- Recommend improvements to functional procedure and direct the implementation of instructions and controls covering a specific area of activity so that all activities are conducted in compliance with risk, audit, and regulatory requirements while delivering a quality, cost-effective service
MIS and Reports
- Prepare departmental MIS statements and reports timely and accurately to meet CBQ and department requirements, policies and standards

Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor degree in business administration, economics, finance or equivalent
Minimum Experience
5 – 7 years’ relevant experience in positions directly related to Wealth Management / Advisory
Knowledge, & Other Skills
- CFA certification/ CISI certification
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of wealth management solutions and products worldwide
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of advisory models, model portfolios.
- Ability to coach and train staff
- Financial understanding, P&L, Pricing and Balance Sheet knowledge
