Chef Middle East, one of the leading foodservice companies in the region, is looking for a Supply Chain Executive in our Doha brunch to oversee and manage inventory. The role involves maintaining product availability and optimizing inventory levels.
Responsibilities:
- Must have experience in import planning and supply forecasting
- Ensure optimum stock coverage across all products as per forecasted requirements
- Generating supplier wise order inventory plans and coordinating with suppliers for shipment plans.
- Generate purchase orders as per requirement and posting the same in the ERP system.
- Regular check and follow up of delivery from suppliers.
- Coordination with other departments – Category, Sales, Operations, Warehouse and Logistics
- Ensuring stock availability at all times.
- Communications and effective teamwork.
Qualifications and Experience:
- College or University degree or at least two years related experience in a similar industry
- Must be familiar with any ERP system and Microsoft Office suite packages.
- Excellent communication skills (proficiency in English)
- Excellent problem solving, organization and negotiation skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
- Highly innovative and proactive with a tenacious work attitude.
- Desire to learn and grow in the position
