Driver / Messenger- Tunisia

We are currently recruiting Driver/ Messenger for Tunisia. In this role you are expected to carry out transport service in a customer service oriented and safe and timely manner handle mail/ documents/ material and personnel, meeting required timetables and ensure that vehicles are maintained to acceptable standards.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Run mail, collection/ distribution of documents and materials, bill payments, interoffice runs, duties related to banks, government departments other external clients, attend/ escort premium passengers, procure transport and delivery of heavy equipment. 
  • Preparing and serving beverages to guests.
  • Transport staff as directed by Supervisors to medical centers. police departments, government department etc. 
  • Liaises with QR offices and departments, colleagues, supervisors, senior management staff, visitors and guests and other external clients. Ensure all interpersonal interactions are conducted maintaining high standards of customer service.
  • Assist in the general office work- filing photocopying and other day to day work as directed by the supervisors. 
  • Maintain vehicle in good condition to acceptable standards so that delivery timetables are met. 
  • Maintain daily-running charts accurately to have reliable records of mileage done by vehicle
  • Perform other department duties related to his/her position as directed by Head of the Department. 

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you will need.

  • High School qualification with minimum 3 years of work-related experience
  • Must have a valid Driver’s License
  • Good driving skills, familiar with city roads and aware of traffic regulations, basic vehicle maintenance
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English
  • Basic literacy and numeracy skills
