About the role
As a Manager Cabin Services Training (Leadership), you will play a critical role within the Cabin Services Training Department to manage and develop comprehensive commercial, In-flight Service and Cabin Crew training strategies to support corporate goals. You will effectively manage product and people to deliver world class training programs.
You will:
- Lead, develop and manage a core team of Training professionals (Instructors/Lead Instructors) as well as Part Time Trainers.
- Monitor and conduct on the job training and provide performance feedback including coaching to ensure that aims and objectives are achieved, at the same time contribute to the on-going continual professional development of team members.
- Supervise the design, the development and the delivery of In-flight service, Leadership training and Cabin Crew training programmes in order to meet departmental and third-party needs, in compliance with national and international regulations and standards as well as best training practices.
- Work alongside Product Development and other business units to support new product launches through training, promotions and special events.
- Liaise with all relevant line departments within the airline to ensure that appropriate training needs/requirements are highlighted and established and related documentation, policies and procedures are implemented as required.
- Assist, prepare and submit Capital and Expense budgets as well as monitor annual costs associated with the Training Unit to meet planned growth requirements set by Qatar Airways Management.
- Perform other department duties related to his/her position as directed by the Head of the Department.

Qualifications
We are looking for a passionate and experienced professional to join our Cabin Services Training Team.
In order to be successful in this role you will have:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Training and Development, Education, HR, or Organizational Development or equivalent with at least 8 years of job-related experience in a global airline.
- Experience as a certified trainer or recognised training qualification.
- Experience of Professional programmes in Strategic Sales, Airline Marketing, Revenue Management, Reservation Systems and In-flight service is preferred.
- Experience in In-flight services training will be an added advantage.
- Managerial skills or prior experience in leading a team of specialists/instructors.
- Strong mentoring and coaching skills.
- Strong communication and computer skills (Microsoft Office products).
- Willingness to relocate to Doha, Qatar.
