JOB PURPOSE:
Carry out the promotion and sale of the Division’s product vehicles in order to meet or exceed the achievement of the Sales Targets set by the Division, resulting to better revenues and profitability.
KEY RESULTS AREAS / DELIVERABLES & KEY ACTIVITIES:
SALES TARGET ACHIEVEMENT
Sell vehicles to customers in order to meet or exceed the Sales Target which is set by the management
- Carry out the Sales Activities within the set standards as defined by the Division and the Manufacturer.
- Handle Customer’s objectives and issues efficiently; know when to escalate it to the higher level.
- Obtain the prospective Customer’s contact details for future follow ups and potential sales opportunity.
- Be knowledgeable on all of the Division’s vehicle product line, including specifications and cost.
- Monitor and follow up with the customer on submission of the Deposit, or Cash Payment, and the Purchase Order from a valid Financial Institution, to ensure that the vehicle is fully sold.
- Conduct customer visits, outside the showroom, as and when approved by Showroom Manager / Division Head.
- Be knowledgeable about competitor’s product lines in order to differentiate the vehicles through its strengths.
CUSTOMER SERVICE
Provide the utmost customer service in order to meet and exceed the set standards as measured against the Manufacturer’s Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) average for the Middle East.
- Ensure utmost courtesy and consideration for all visitors and customers coming into the showroom.
- Ensure that the Customer’s experience in purchasing the vehicle is positive from beginning till the end.
- Inform the Customer on the status of the vehicle, including the reason for the delay, for their reference.
- Provide customers with extra service, as and when possible, set within the legal parameters, standards and values of the Group / Division.
POST SALES PROCESSING
Carry out all Post Sales activities, after closing of the deal, to ensure the timely handover of the vehicle to the customer.
- Prepare all relevant documentations as required to register the vehicle.
- Prepare all relevant documentations for Bank and Insurance requirements.
- Ensure that vehicles delivered matches the specifications and accessories agreed with the customer.
- Follow up with the Traffic Representative for vehicle insurance and registration processing.
- Orient the Customer on the vehicles different features and basic maintenance requirements.
- Handover the vehicle to the customer, upon completion of all documentation.
AD HOC ACTIVITIES
Carry out Ad Hoc Activities, as and when instructed by the management, and achieve the defined deliverables.
- Carry out Ad Hoc Activities or Tasks within the defined timelines and deliverables.
- Provide feedback to the requester on issues and status of the Ad Hoc Activity.
Skills
EDUCATION:
Degree in any Business, Management or Engineering course.
EXPERIENCE:
Minimum 2 years relevant working experience in Showroom Sales for Vehicles, Machineries or Equipment
COMPETENCIES:
- Background in Automotive Dealership Sales is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Arabic.
- Good Customer Service Skills.
- Have an approachable disposition and is at ease with different kinds of people with different cultures and backgrounds.
- Ability to listen and ask the right questions.
- Ability to easily build rapport and affinity to the customer.
