Operations Manager – Airport Screening Project

  • Lead and manage passenger and baggage screening operations, ensuring compliance with international security standards.
  • Conduct quality control audits to ensure adherence to practices and procedures.
  • Provide training and safety information to a multilingual team as a certified First Aid instructor.
  • Oversee and monitor X-ray screening operations, ensuring certified standards are upheld.
  • Implement and enforce health & safety regulations in the workplace.
  • Prepare detailed reports using MS Office and other reporting tools.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of statutory requirements, security protocols, and quality assurance standards.
  • Manage team performance through effective communication, motivation, and leadership.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma in security or a relevant field.

Experience:

  • At least 3 years in a similar role or capacity.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in passenger and baggage screening as a certified X-ray Screener.
  • At least 1 year of experience as a certified First Aid instructor, delivering training to multilingual staff.

Skills

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong verbal, listening, and written communication skills.
  • Good working knowledge of passenger security, screening procedures, and quality assurance.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and other reporting tools.
  • Familiarity with statutory requirements and health & safety regulations.
  • Leadership skills with the ability to multitask and work under pressure.
