Job Description
The Worksite/Site Commissioning engineer shall be responsible for all aspects of the commissioning planning, scheduling, execution and completion Fabrication scopes. During the execution phase, the Worksite/Site Commissioning engineer reports functionally to the Commissioning Manager.
Principle accountabilities includes:
- Assuring the safe operation of equipment and systems and safe conduct of personnel.
- Supervision and coordination of pre-commissioning, commissioning activities and operation test during Worksite/Site phase.
- Principal liaison between Worksite/Site Commissioning Team, Construction Team and material logistic team and COMPANY’s commissioning.
- Familiar with system completion workflow process and SCDB
- Responsible for all pre-commissioning, commissioning activities (as defined in this execution plan) including safety, environmental, quality, budgets and schedule part of Worksite/Site scope.
- Responsible for ensuring that all pre-commissioning and commissioning activities are conducted in accordance with the requirements specified in the project Quality Assurance / Quality Controls (QA/QC) Plans.
- Responsible for issuing the general instructions and the program for conducting work related to the pre-commissioning and commissioning activities at site.
- Issuing progress reports to management as defined by project management.
- Lead the Worksite/Site team to comply with CONTRACTOR/COMPANY HSE requirements, to achieve a level of zero harm, accidents, or injuries and no defect or unwanted discharge nor leaks.
- Interface and Coordinate with the Commissioning Manager, Quality Manager, and Construction Manager on final inspection, punch list and the handover acceptance.
- Development of ITR, completion certificates, completion dossiers etc.
- Verify with QC to assure allocation of check sheets for all system components.
- Plan and mobilize PC&C resources, vendor engineers and sub-contractor for PC&C scope during yard and offshore phase.
Skills
Software’s Handled: HEXAGON/ICAPS / WINCC / Others
- Preferred Mechanical / E & I Discipline
- Min 10 to 15 Years’ Experience in Oil and Gas
- At least 2-3 project commissioning and handover experience
- Offshore Certifications Required - Initial 6 months at onshore and offshore as per mobilization plans
