Sales Operations Manager - Europe

Qatar Airways (QR) are now recruiting for the role of Sales Operations Manager Europe. 
Based in Central London, you will manage a complex sales operations Regional Hub to provide timely and effective administration, process and policy support related to sales support, group sales, sales systems and sales administration for the commercial teams within the European region. 

Accountabilities include:  
•    In charge of co-ordinating and integrally overseeing the departmental activity of the Sales Operations Teams across Europe, and provide guidance and leadership to the Sales Operations Specialist roles in direct reporting line, in charge of the 5 European Clusters (Central Europe, Northern Europe, Southern Europe, Western Europe, UK & Ireland)   
•    Support the Head of Sales Operation with strong regional experience and knowledge of the local market context in assigned territories to drive the integration of dispersed sales and support activities including Trade Help Desk, Support to Sales, Indoor Sales, and groups.  
•    Initiate, communicate and deliver the annual KPI and target setting / departmental objectives for each of the clusters and functions within the department, in full alignment with the Company Commercial Strategic priorities.  
•    Monitor customers pain points and propose strategies and tactics that drive cost effective and sustainable resolution. 
•    Identification and evaluation of existing and new sales processes with the aim of delivering value to all internal and external stakeholders. 
•    In collaboration with relevant internal stakeholders, evaluate and enhance existing and new sales policies and processes to ensure they are customer centric, efficient and deliver value to all stakeholders. 
•    Manage a database of all relevant policies to centralise and improve team accessibility. Develop and distribute relevant reporting to drive transparency of policy and process compliance. Ensure that team documents, updates and communicates all sales policies and processes using stakeholder input and available manuals to ensure internal awareness and compliance.  
•    Develop and maintain database of key customer profiles to assist with segmentation and targeted business. Ensure accuracy of key customer profiles by using internal and external sources.  
•    Provide service support to trade customers, travel agencies, and maximising revenue for these clients. 
•    Lead the teams to handle customer requirements. Manage the team to handle group activities for the region.  

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you will have the following: 
•    Proven experience in sales operations or sales support within large complex environments. 
•    Experience in building cross functional support teams with clear service level agreements, and establishing processes of meeting these SLA’s. 
•    Extensive commercial experience in a leading international airline or Travel industry. 
•    Strong analytical skills. 
•    Proven ability to negotiate and work within a multi-cultural environment. 
•    Strong leadership and excellent communication skills.  
  
Fluency in English (written and spoken) is essential for this role. You must have the current right to live and work in the UK to be considered.
